Scarborough Sea Life Centre

We recently paid a visit to Scarborough Sea Life centre, we had some half price vouchers so was just over £18 for entry for me and my partner, as the girls are now 18months so they got free. Initially was very busy and with a double buggy very hard to get anywhere! thankfully the staff were able to offer us to store the buggy so we could just leisurely go round with the girls walking. The girls absolutely loved it shouting 'fishes. fishes' at every tank, even though very young were still able to have a feel of some starfish and crabs, the staff were fab with them, gave them a sticker each and did some colouring. The displays all looked very well looked after, and whilst there isnt the diversity you get of displays at places like the Deep in Hull, you do get the added extras of the seals, otters, penguins etc which was lovely for them to see. Once we had been round we went to a smallish soft play area again very nice and seemed to be hid away in the cafe so was fairly quiet. We were there prob 1 and 1/2 so for £18 did seem a little steep, especially that was the half price!Although the girls loved it soo much would not hesitate to take them again (with discount tickets). The trip did lead to use purchasing pet fish as well as the girls loved them, so we sourced a fish tank from freecycle and now in the process of stocking it up as we only have 4 fish.
